F-16 Accompanying the President



President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, on Thursday (12/1/2012) around 10.30 A.M., arrived at the Airfield TNI AU Iswahjudi, Madiun, East Java, after a flight of about 40 minutes from Malang. After lunch in Madiun, the President and his entourage proceeded overland towards Pacitan.

In air travel to Madiun, the Garuda plane en troupe President was accompanied by four F-16 aircraft based at Iswahjudi Airfield.

The fourth aircraft was accompanying President since on the way to get Madiun.

"Good morning and best wishes from the altitude of 22,000 feet. We wish you welcome to Mr. President and first lady, and the entourages. This is an honor for us, Airforce fighter, to escort aircraft Indonesia One, " said one of the airline pilots of the F-16 over the radio that to be heard in President's cabin.

"No longer we are going to enter the restricted area of Iswahyudi, where the space Rangers Iswahyudi nested and forged to confront any air threats. We are TNI Angkatan Udara always prepared to keep every inch of Republic of Indonesia's sovereignty from the air. Finally, the to Mr. President and first lady, and the entourage, we say Welcome to the Iswahyudi Airfield. Have a nice flight and happy landing. All falcon, to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, respect the motion! "said the pilot.
