Not only for domestic tourists, Bunaken's charming had made the foreign tourists fallen in love to Indonesia. Located in North Sulawesi and not away from the downtown Manado, in Manado Bay within 8,08 square km wide. You can reach it by speedboat from Manado with only Rp. 25.000 for a person, and taken only in 40 minutes.
The undersea life of Bunaken are so colorful. Its underwater park like a giant aquarium which will adore you. No wonder, if this place become the main destination for diver.
Taken from the official site of tourism in Indonesia, there are 13 kinds of coral reefs which lives in this underwater park and dominated by marine rocks. One of the interesting sights is a long vertical coral reef which looming down as deep as 25-50 meters.
Bunaken also rich with its fishes population, there are about 91 species of fishes will accompanying your diving, like hippocampus, White Koi (Seriola rivoliana), Goropa(spilotocepse hinephelus) Lutjanus kasmira, Nila Gasi (Scolopsis bilitenus) and many others.
There are 20 diving spots spread out in Bunaken. Coursely, its underwaer biota have its own beauty. And dont forget to visit Manado Tua, Siladen and Mantehage which have beautiful beaches.
