Emirsyah: Malaysia Owes One Million Tourists

Kuala Lumpur, Kompas.com - Director of PT Garuda Indonesia,  Emirsyah Satar hoped, by the existence of healthy bike activities (fun bike) in Kuala Lumpur which organized by
Garuda Indonesia, will making the closeness between Indonesia and Malaysia is getting better, so that the number of tourists from both countries also continued to increase.

"If the current Indonesia tourists to Malaysia about two million tourists, while from Malaysia has about one million, so Malaysia still owe a million more," said Emirsyah which gained widespread applause from the participants and invitations whose present in the fun bike in Kuala Lumpur, Sunday (19/2/2012).


Garuda Indonesia increased its flights to Kuala Lumpur became three times a day, previously only twice in one day. "Once there is a morning and afternoon schedule, starting February 19th, Garuda also fly in the afternoon from Kuala Lumpur to Jakarta," said General Manager of Garuda Indonesia to Malaysia, Erwin Suharja.

The addition of this flight schedule in line with the increasing of consumer demand, especially for flights in the afternoon. Current flights Kuala Lumpur-Jakarta at 08.10 and 12.45 and it will be added to the afternoon flight, namely at 18.40 Malaysia time.

Erwin added, to provide the best service to passengers, Garuda using new aircraft Boeing 737-800 Next Generation.
