Pyramid in the Sadahurip Mountain Not Proved



News about historic relics on mountain Sadahurip in the Sukahurip village, district Pangatikan, Garut, West Java, that like a pyramid, can not be proved.
Sadahurip mountain-shaped to resemble a pyramid is formed naturally, so it can not be said that in a pyramid buried in the moutain," said The Head of Department of Culture and Tourism Garut, Warjita,  told the reporters, on Wednesday (1/2/2012).

That statement based on the report of the expert team of geology and archaeology of Institut Tehnik Bandung /ITB that came to conduct a research on mount Sadahurip some time ago.

He explained, based on the reports received from the research ITB team, Mount Sadahurip is not burried a heritage or building of a pyramid which is touted by the staff of the President's Special Field of Social Assistance and Natural Disasters, Andi Arief.

According to a research team led by geologist from ITB, Sujatmiko, said Warjita, that mountain that formed conical collar like a pyramid because the process of nature formation and nothing special that formed by humans.

"Formed naturally and could not say if inside the Mount Sadahurip burried a pyramid relic," he said.

The existence of previous statement by research team that also copied by special presidential staff, said Warjita, based on the assessment team from ITB spare the research step by the earlier team that violating the rules.

Warjita said, a research team from ITB, assessing the previous research team of the mountain made a direct detection to the soil layers, not firstly traverse the historical lines and signs around the mountain.

Moreover assesed from history in Indonesia, said Warjita, never knew the existence of a civilization in making of the pyramid, except to know with punden berundak and temple. "The step from the Centre's research team has been violating procedures excavations of historic objects. Viewed historically in Indonesia never know the civilization of the making a pyramid," he said.
