Oehala waterfall in Soe give breezing air between the arid circumstances of Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT). In an island which majority consisted from land and

One of them which interesting is Oehala water fall. This waterfall located in Soe, Timor Tengah Selatan district, indeed become so popular because its beauty of nature that surrounding it.
Coursely because of its panorama which dazzling, not came from the location but also from along the way. To reach there, you can take it for about 2,5 hours in 110 km distance from Kupang.
The trip will not tiring you, because its traffice relatively not so crowded. Only some vehicles passing, like oto (intercity travel bus) and 3/4 sized buses which always fulfilled with vegetables in the roof and motorcycles which tied in the back side.
The way which passed to Oehala is a main road of Kupang to Atambua and Timor Leste. There's so many views which seized your attention.
Along the way in Oebelo district, seen so many salter which produce their own salt ponds. Salts which ready to sale wrapped in a webbing bag, made from palm leaves in cylinder shape and stacked int the alongside of the way.
Maybe, one thing that may stealing your attention on the way from Kupang to Soe is Noelmina gate. This gate is a boundary of Kupang and Timor Leste Selatan.
Its size and majestic indeed still less with Barelang gate in Batam, or Ampera in Palembang. But, its scenery is pretty unique, Noelmina river which almost dried whith its cliffs in the riverside becomes more attractive.
Arrive in Soe, you have to continue your trip, within 13 km damaged and dusty road. But its OK, it will be paid after you reach the waterfall.
In Oehala village, this waterfall have a height in 2 meters and 7 terraces which split in 3 different parts. Each of the waterfalls have two or three terraces in one location.
The swift water which flowing through the waterfall came from Mutis mountain. Fresh, rushing sound and breezing air in Oehala waterfall as become the cure for your hard long trip.
