There is a few, the tourist from India which wants to taste the beauty of Indonesia. But, the
difficult access make them move to another destination like Singapore. They need straight flight to Indonesia.
It need a big effort so that they can thread they feet on Indonesia. The main difficult is not only the direct flight from India to Indonesia, and conversely. The tourists from India have to make a flight to Hongkong firstly, or transit in Singapore before continuing their trip to Indonesia.
So, the Indian party ask to airlines in Indonesia for make an direct access from both country. It revealed by Andi M Ghalib, Ambassador of Indonesia for India while visit of business investation mission delegation of India in 17th floor - Gedung Sapta Pesona, Jl Medan Merdeka Barat, Central Jakarta.
"Whereas, Indian party has open a direct filght for Garuda Indonesia , from Mumbai, Delhi, Kalkutta annd Chennai. This access has has openend since last four years, but until today there is no realization," said Andi.
From 1,2 billion peoples of India, more than 400 million are from upper middle class. Those sum of societies want to see directly the beauty of Indonesia, but failed because no direct flight from their country.
This is so unfortunate, remembering the tourists from India to Indonesia experiencie an increasing. In last 2011, Indian tourists reached 168.122, increase 15,8% from 2010 which in 145.179 tourists.
"If that flight could be realized, the target of 180.000 tourists from India must be an easy thing. India can bring more than it," said Sapta Nirwandar, Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, in that event.
