Having Fun in Nusa Penida





Not only Kuta beach and its night life in Bali. Its surrouding islands also interesting to visit, not excepted
Nusa Penida in the southeast. The joyful of weekend can be found in this island.

Nusa Penida which located in Klungkung district is one of three little islands in the southeast of Bali that famous with its underwater view. Not only local tourist, foreign tourists also start to visiting the beauty of Nusa Penida.

To reach Nusa Penida, you can cross over the Badung strait from Pantai Sanur port. By a speedboat, you will taken to Nusa Penida within 1 hour. For on trip, you will charged for Rp. 50.000,-/ person. But there are also some fisherman's boat which utilized for take you there for Rp. 40.000,-/ person, but surely it takes longer than speedboat.



Dive the beauty of Nusa Penida's underwater diversity

Arrived in Nusa Penida, hurry to keep you carrying and just go to the diving location. There are at least 7 diving spots which have beautiful view. Penida Bay, Manta Point, Batu Meling, Batu Lumbung, Batu Abah, Toyakapeh dan Malibu Point are the famous spots which will give you unforgetable moments.



When you dive its underwater nature, you will amazed with its sea grasses. Nusa Penida have rare sea grass species, there is spinosum. There are also beautiful coral reefs spread out over the sea bed.

If you are lucky, you will find a cute fish, Mola-mola. This kind of fish have an unique shape, flat with fins on either bottom-up side. It fins looks contrast if compared with its body. In August, you will easily found this jumbo fish in Nusa Penida.



After enjoying its beautiful undersea scenery, you can spend your rest of the day in the beach. Taste some seafood dishes while enjoying the wide sea covered with gold-yellow lights, a perfect ending of your day.


For you who want to staying, dont worry. Nusa Penida completed with various type of staying places. This island at least have 15 inns which consist of some room-types. For backpackers, there are a homestay, a perfect option for staying without costing a lot of money.
