An earthquake measuring on the 5.1 richter scale (RS) rocked the seabed around the Simeulue Regency, Aceh, Friday (30/1/2012) last night. According to the official description on the page of Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi dan Geofisika /BMKG (agency for meterology, climatology and geophysics).
The quake at 20.20 rated not potentially cause a tsunami. BMKG Recorded, the epicentre is located at a depth of 10 kilometers.
The epicenter was located about 77 kilometers southeast Simeulue Regency, Aceh. In detail, coordinates the epicentre is 2.13 north latitude-96,61 east longitude.
