Benoa Seriously Works The Cruise Ship





The Deputy Minister of  Transportation's visitings, Bambang Susantoro to th port of
Benoa, Bali accepted as a form of govenrment's attention to prepare the infrastructure to welcome the big cruise ships in 2013.

"In the sidelines of the event International Cruise Workshop, Thursday (12/04/2012), the deputy minister Bambang Susantoro took time to visit the port of Benoa," said General Manager of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) III Benoa, Iwan Sabatini in Denpasar, Friday (13/04/2012).

According to Iwan, Susantoro directly seen the preparationn of dredging works to deepen the port's pool, so it could give more free and easy access for large cruise ships which will entry the port. Later, Benoa could be entered by 300 meters-length big ships, which are the new generation.






Iwan described from the workshop's result about cruise ship , it need to be noted down, Indonesia potentially in geographic, moreover have 17.000 islands which interested by foreign tourists. If in the north in cold season, he said that the tourists will run to tropical countries or to the south.

But, if in southern hemisphere experiencing cold season, Australian tourists will go to Indonesia as tropical country which have so manya islands and beautiful views or loaded with various arts and cultures. "These potential things have to be optimized. If not, we will lost all of them," said him.


Iwan added, today port of Benoa has visited by cruise ships in 264 meters-length. "With more and more Cruise Liner like Seabourne Lines, Silversea Cruise Lines, Royal Caribean Voyager of the Seas, Costa Cruises Lines and Holland America Lines, cruise ship's touring in Indonesia will be more interesting," said Iwan.
