Togean, A Perfect Combination of Derawan and Raja Ampat



Togean islands in Central Sulawesi ready to bewitch you with its beautiful islands and

Indeed, its timeless if talking about the beauty of nature in Indonesia. In addition to Raja Amat in Papua, there is one more a group of islands which will pampering you with its natural beauty, that is Togean Islands.


Togean is a group of islands which located in the area Tojo Una-Una, Central Sulawesi. The islands have beautiful cluster and fulfilled with hedged trees, just like in Raja Ampat.


Every island in Togean still natural and crowded with trees. This makes the air feel breezing. Besides all of them, Togean famous with its underwater park.




Togean's underwater park is so beautiful, so many tourist called it heaven for the divers. No wonder if diving is one of the must-to-do thing if you visit this place.Its waves not too big, suitable for exploring the underwater park.


You will treated with pretty coral reefs that still maintained well. Not only that, various colorful fishes will accompanying your diving too, if you cannot swimming, dont be worry. There's so many another activity which you can still enjoy like ishing and forest exploring in Malenge island, one of islands in Togean.


Do you want to know, what the intersting of Togean? Yes, stingless jellyfish lake. They not only nesting in Derawan islands but also in this place. But unfortunately, this location a slightly isolated or concealed. located not too far form Kadidiri island and only known by local guide.

So, if you have a plan to visit this place, you have to escorted by local people or guides. These are puposed to keep the sustainability of ecosystems  and the jellyfishes.


Togean is indeed a perfect combination of Raja Ampat and Derawan. The underwater parks which could taken by airplane to Manado, then continued with motorboat to Bunaken within 40 minutes.
