Monas Becomes Sea of Human

The Monumen Nasional / Monas (national monument) became a sea of human, saturday night(31/12/2011). The pedestrian that dominated by young people make the traffic choked up, though not to cause traffic jams. Things like this always happens on every night of the turn of the year in the capital Jakarta as a few hours ago.

The police also appear to be much guarded in a number of points, especially on the crossroad of Harmoni, to prevent motor vehicle through the entrance to the monument. The road is well populated by hikers forced police to close for a while the Jalan Merdeka.
Long traffic jams also occur from the direction of the Kota Tua towards the Monas. Motor vehicles crept from the old city until Harmoni. Motorbike riders to have to break through the line busway.
