Indonesia participated in the biggest Carnival that held the city of Basel, Switzerland "Die Dreei Schnenschte Dägg" or three awsome days. Carnival will start with
the demising lights in the streets of the Basel on 04.00 am.
"The time has not shown at 04.00 am yet, but all the lights on the streets Basel and in the homes of residents where the darkness reached its peak which called Morgestraich," said staff of the Indonesian embassy in Bern, Budiman Wiriakusumah, Tuesday (28/2/2012).
Budiman said when the "Morgestraich" is coming, that largest festival in Basel, the city which bordering with France and Germany were started.
Carnival in this 2012 begins Monday February 27 lasted for 72 hours and will end Thursday, March 1, at 04.00 am. or named "Endstraich".
According to Budiman, this time Indonesia participated in the carnival, it can seen from tram no 1 and 14 which is the Indonesian tram tour promotion, drove thousand of tourists who come, from the train station (Basel Hauptbahnhof) to the down town, the venue of the carnival.
"In tram no 1 and 2 are tram Tour promotion, which invites tourists to visit tourism spot in Indonesia such as the Raja Ampat, Borobudur, Komodo, Lombok and Bali," he said.
Moreover in March also will be held "Basel World", exhibition "Avant Premiere" of the jewelry and luxury watches from around the world. "The promotion of Indonesia on the tram line 1 and 14 still join the bustle of Basel to invites tourists who come to Basel to visit Indonesia too," added Budiman.
